Bede Quartet

Eschewing predictable and rigid forms for playing Jazz, Bede Quartet takes influence from Northumbrian and Scandinavian folk music, with strong, simple melodies and a collectively fluid approach to improvising. These musicians are no strangers to the fusion of Jazz with other genres, with members (Michael Dunlop, Albert Hills Wright, Finn Carter, Dave Adsett) performing with artists from Loyle Carner to Geordie Greep.
Formed as a drum-less trio in 2021, the group is proud to finally showcase their debut album, recorded over a few days in rural Northumberland.
