Based on Mel Brooks’ much-loved Academy Award winning movie, The Producers is an hilarious musical comedy that has taken Broadway and the West End by storm, winning a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards and three Olivier Awards, more than any other show in Broadway history – this show broke all the records (and all the rules) of Musical Theatre!
The Producers opened on Broadway in 2001, starring Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick in the lead roles. It ran for over 5 years and in 2004 a London production opened with Nathan Lane and Lee Evans. It has since been seen all over the world and there have been many tours, a film and a new West End production opens in November 2024.
