Presented as part of Durham Book Festival
North East writers are invited to meet each other and share their work at this informal, fun and supportive event. Think ‘scratch-night’ meets ‘literary salon’.
There will be scheduled performances from Durham writers, readings and witty word games from host, master wordsmith, Adam Sharp, author of The Wheel is Spinning but the Hamster is Dead, and the opportunity for you to put your name in a hat for the chance to share your own work at the end!
This event follows Durham Writes: our programme of creative writing workshops that took place around County Durham in Spring and Summer this year.
Bring a friend, a piece of writing, or just come along and enjoy new work.
