Presented by Theatre Space North East

One relationship. Infinite possibilities.
Marianne and Roland meet at a party. They go for a drink, or perhaps they don’t. They fall madly in love, start dating, break up. They meet up again by accident – perhaps Marianne reveals that she’s now engaged to someone else and that’s that. Or perhaps Roland is engaged. Or, maybe they get married, or maybe their time together will be tragically short.
Or maybe not.
Nick Payne’s Constellations is a play about free will and fate; it’s also about quantum multiverse theory, love, and honey…
We have all the time we’ve ever had.
Widely considered a modern classic, this ‘dazzling play’ (The Guardian) won the Best Play Award at the Evening Standard Awards and marks an exciting return to such projects for Theatre Space North-East after their acclaimed tours of Stef Smith’s Girl in the Machine.
‘packs a powerful punch…strong performances…powerfully presented…’ NARC.
