At a time when women’s rights are being rolled back, Clare McGlynn and Natasha Walter join us to discuss how we can turn the tide on the violent sexual content that is reshaping modern society and build supportive and hopeful communities for women.

Clare McGlynn is a Professor of Law at Durham University and a leading international authority on the regulation of pornography, sexual violence and online abuse. Her debut book Exposed: The Rise of Extreme Porn and How We Fight Back was published in 2026. She regularly appears on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour and Today programmes, and ITV News. Her work has featured in The Sunday Times and The New York Times. In 2020, she was appointed an honorary KC in recognition of her leadership in reforming the law on extreme pornography.

Natasha Walter is a human rights activist and feminist author of five books including, most recently, Feminism for a World on Fire. As a journalist, she has written for The Guardian, The Independent and The Observer, and has contributed to many arts and political programmes including Channel 4 News, BBC Breakfast, and BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour. She is currently Honorary Professor at the Centre for Climate Crime and Climate Justice, Queen Mary University of London.
