Based on the beloved 1968 film and Ian Fleming’s classic children’s story, this brilliant full stage production is packed with unforgettable songs including Toot Sweets, Hushabye Mountain, Truly Scrumptious and the Oscar-nominated title song, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Join eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts, his children Jeremy and Jemima, and the ever-charming Truly Scrumptious as they restore an old race car with magical powers — a car that can fly and float! But when the wicked Baron Bomburst sets his sights on the extraordinary vehicle, adventure, laughter, and heartwarming moments follow.
Featuring official professional Chitty cars and scenery, superb sound and lighting thanks to CDB Group, and outstanding performances from Durham School’s talented cast, this is a truly scrumptious, fun-filled show for all the family.
