We can’t wait to welcome you back to our cultural venues. We want everyone to enjoy seeing films and live performances, and socialising in our theatres again, but obviously things may be a little different at first. We hope the information below will help you plan your visit.
The Venue You Love
As I’m sure you understand, we need to have a number of measures in place at our venues, to ensure your safety. But we are determined that when you arrive, you’ll feel welcome, at home, and be able to enjoy our theatres as you always have. Our staff will be waiting to welcome you at the door, ready to answer any questions you may have, and to give you the reassurance you need to help you move around the building with confidence.
Please purchase tickets in advance where possible, and use our eTicket facility, ideally bringing a copy on your smartphone, rather than printing the ticket off. This will allow you to enter our venues more easily, minimise the amount of time you may have to wait, and reduce contact with the front of house team.
Socially Distanced Seating
We feel that socially distanced seating gives our customers that extra reassurance. So when you book for a film or live performance taking place before the end of August, simply select the number of tickets you need for your group, and our system will choose the best available seats, automatically ensure that you are two seats away from the nearest group, and that no-one will be in the row in front or behind you. As long as you are attending as one group, you will all be able to sit together. Whilst the capacity in the auditorium has been greatly reduced, you may need to pass someone to take your seat. Always mitigate any risk by keeping your face covering on. The theatre will also ask you to maintain a safe social distance around the building and when you are waiting to take your seats.
Book with Confidence Guarantee
We understand that this is a financially uncertain time for many people, so we want you to be able to book ahead with confidence for the performances and films you love, without worrying that you may not be able to attend, when the event comes around. So, we now have a Book with Confidence Guarantee. If you are unable to attend a performance or film for any reason, as long as you let us know 24 hours before the event, we will refund the cost of your tickets, or exchange them to another event. Free of charge. No questions asked.
Can I Still Have Fun with my Friends?
We’ve all waited a long time to be able to get back out with our friends and enjoy the shared experience of watching a film or live show with others. We will do our best to make sure any of the temporary safety measures we have in place do not impact on your visit, meaning you can relax and enjoy your night out.
Be sure to set aside more than enough time for your journey to the venue. Please check your route if travelling by public transport as this may have recently changed and be sure to follow any guidance they have in place.
Please do not attend the venue if you…
- believe you may be infected with COVID-19
- have experienced symptoms in the last 14 days
- have been in close proximity to anyone who has experienced symptoms in the last 14 days
- arrived in the UK in the last 14 days and are not covered by exemption rules for self-isolation
- have been instructed to self-isolate.
If you consider yourself to be clinically extremely vulnerable or if you are in the same household or support bubble as someone who considers themselves to be clinically extremely vulnerable, you are advised not to attend.
What if I become unwell after my visit?
We are working with the government to Track & Trace. If you display COVID-19 symptoms, you will be required to let us know.
‘See It Safely’ Approved
We’re proud that we have been granted the use of Society of London Theatre & UK Theatre’s See It Safely mark. This certifies that we are complying with the latest Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, to ensure the safety of our staff and audiences.
